3M+ Monthly Transactions
Built infrastructure capable of securely processing millions of payment transactions every month.
We built a scalable payment integration platform that unified multiple payment gateways, banking APIs, UPI, digital wallets, and merchant services into a secure, centralized ecosystem. By automating payment routing, settlements, reconciliation, fraud detection, and reporting, the solution supported 3M+ monthly transactions with 99.99% uptime, reduced operational complexity, improved merchant confidence, and provided a reliable foundation for continued fintech growth.

As digital payment volumes continued growing across retail, education, subscription services, and enterprise merchants, the client required infrastructure capable of processing millions of secure transactions every month without interruption. Their existing platform relied on several disconnected payment gateways, banking APIs, reconciliation processes, and manual operational workflows that became increasingly difficult to manage as transaction volumes accelerated. During peak periods, payment failures, delayed settlements, and operational bottlenecks directly affected merchant confidence and customer satisfaction.
Our objective was to engineer a modern fintech integration platform capable of intelligently orchestrating payment routing, banking integrations, automated reconciliation, merchant settlements, fraud monitoring, and real-time reporting from one unified ecosystem. The resulting solution provided exceptional scalability, high availability, enterprise-grade security, and automated financial operations, enabling the platform to confidently process more than three million monthly transactions while maintaining consistent performance and regulatory compliance.
Built infrastructure capable of securely processing millions of payment transactions every month.
Automatically routed transactions across multiple payment gateways to maximise success rates.
Streamlined settlements, reconciliation, refunds, dispute management, and merchant reporting.
Implemented PCI-DSS compliant architecture with fraud monitoring, encryption, and audit trails.
Before development began, our engineering team analysed transaction flows, merchant onboarding processes, settlement cycles, gateway response behaviour, reconciliation delays, fraud patterns, banking integrations, and compliance requirements. Each payment touchpoint was carefully documented to identify where failures occurred, where latency increased, and which processes required automation. Particular attention was given to peak transaction periods, ensuring the new architecture could maintain consistent performance even during significant demand spikes.
Success metrics were designed around measurable business outcomes including transaction success rate, settlement speed, gateway availability, reconciliation accuracy, merchant onboarding efficiency, dispute resolution time, infrastructure scalability, and platform uptime. Continuous monitoring dashboards ensured operational visibility after deployment while enabling proactive optimisation as transaction volumes continued to increase.
Although the fintech platform experienced rapid merchant adoption, the underlying payment infrastructure had not evolved at the same pace. Individual gateways operated independently, settlement reconciliation depended heavily on manual intervention, and failed transactions often required support teams to investigate individually. Limited observability across payment systems reduced operational efficiency while increasing business risk during high-volume transaction periods.
Peak transaction periods resulted in gateway congestion and increased payment failures.
Banking API delays slowed merchant settlements and affected customer confidence.
Finance teams manually reconciled payment records across multiple disconnected systems.
Growing transaction volumes increased regulatory, audit, and security management requirements.
The business wasn't limited by merchant demand—it was constrained by fragmented payment infrastructure that lacked automation, intelligent routing, operational visibility, and the scalability required for sustained fintech growth.
We conducted a detailed assessment of payment gateways, banking integrations, settlement workflows, merchant onboarding, refund processing, chargeback management, fraud detection, and reporting infrastructure. This comprehensive audit identified where asynchronous processing, message queues, API orchestration, and automation could significantly improve reliability while reducing operational workload.
Documented every payment gateway, banking API, webhook, and transaction workflow.
Measured gateway latency, transaction success rates, retry patterns, and peak load behaviour.
Validated PCI-DSS compliance, encryption standards, authentication, and audit requirements.
Defined dashboards for transaction monitoring, settlements, merchant performance, and system health.
Reviewed existing payment architecture, merchant onboarding workflows, banking integrations, settlement processes, fraud controls, and compliance requirements to identify scalability bottlenecks.
Designed a microservices-based integration platform with intelligent gateway routing, asynchronous processing, event-driven communication, and secure API orchestration.
Integrated payment gateways, UPI networks, banking APIs, wallet providers, reconciliation systems, fraud detection engines, and merchant dashboards into one connected ecosystem.
Performed stress testing, security validation, PCI-DSS compliance checks, merchant migration, production deployment, and continuous performance monitoring.
Rather than simply connecting payment providers, we built an intelligent transaction ecosystem capable of automatically selecting the most reliable gateway, recovering failed transactions through retry mechanisms, synchronising settlements, and providing complete operational visibility for merchants and internal teams. Automated workflows reduced manual financial operations while improving transaction reliability, customer experience, and platform scalability.
Automatically directed transactions through the most efficient gateway based on availability, performance, and transaction type.
Matched settlements, payment records, refunds, and banking data without manual intervention.
Implemented encryption, fraud monitoring, PCI-DSS controls, audit logs, and secure authentication across all payment flows.
Delivered live dashboards for settlements, payment success rates, disputes, failed transactions, and business performance.
Infrastructure assessment, gateway evaluation, merchant workflow analysis, security review, and solution planning.
Developed payment orchestration layer, API integrations, message queues, reconciliation engine, and merchant services.
Load testing, PCI-DSS validation, security auditing, banking certification, merchant onboarding, and production preparation.
Production deployment, live monitoring, merchant migration, operational optimisation, and continuous support.
The goal was to build a highly scalable payment integration ecosystem capable of processing millions of monthly transactions while improving reliability, reducing failures, automating settlements, and strengthening security compliance.
Performance was evaluated using transaction success rates, reconciliation reports, settlement times, merchant dashboards, infrastructure monitoring, payment analytics, uptime reporting, and operational KPIs.
It demonstrates how modern payment integrations, API orchestration, cloud-native architecture, automation, and enterprise security enable fintech businesses to scale rapidly while maintaining exceptional reliability and regulatory compliance.
